About Me

This blog started after the birth of my first daughter as I began my journey to holistic parenting while working full time. Over the years, I have birthed two more children, worked full time, worked part time, started my own business, came out of a domestic violence marriage, remarried, been homeless, homeschooled my children, and learned from everything that's happened in those years.

Life More Simply is about bringing encouragement to parents in the real world who also desire a more simple life. This is done through postings that you can relate to, product reviews and giveaways, and (hopefully) helpful ideas and tips along the way. I am the proof that a busy, working mom can still cloth diaper, breastfeed, and co-sleep with her children. It's possible to get back to the roots of life--living simply through wholesome foods, the things we put into our homes, the entertainment we choose, and still keeping God first. I may not have it all figured out yet, but this is my journey, put forth for you to read and be inspired by.
